Wedding Day Photography

Not every bride wants to have a photographer in the room when she is getting into her dress or snapping photos when she has no make-up on, while others couldn’t imagine having a wedding album without several photos of her and her bridesmaids getting ready. Because of that, Fucci’s Photos offers a variety of packages. All packages include a password-protected online gallery of your color-corrected photos. You and your gallery’s visitors can purchase professional prints of the images at affordable prices through this site as well. High-resolution digital negatives are available for purchase.
Engagement Photo Session
Prior to your big day it’s a good idea to have a photo session with your photographer so that you can get more comfortable in front of the camera. Many couples like to use the photos from these sessions for save the date cards, invitations, or to decorate the tables at the rehearsal dinner. An engagement session is included in some packages but can also be purchased separately.
Rehearsal Dinner
The rehearsal dinner is when many friends and family are seeing the couple for the first time in years. This can make for a great photo opportunity. Additionally, having your wedding photographer cover this event allows her to get to know the wedding party better so that on your big day everyone is more comfortable with getting their pictures taken.
“Say Yes to the Dress” Session
One of the most memorable experiences of planning a wedding is when the bride picks out her dress. Ask your bridal salon of choice if they will allow a professional photographer to come in and document the excitement that comes with finding your perfect dress. If you receive permission, our photographer can capture the search.
Traditional Bridal Portrait or Trash the Dress Session
Since the day of the wedding is often so busy a bridal portrait session after the wedding day can allow you and the photographer more creative freedom. In addition to traditional bridal portrait sessions, “Trash the Dress” sessions have become a popular new trend. While the name sounds horrible, modern brides looking for images with a more editorial feel have the opportunity to give their wedding dress a second life. Sit on the edge of the tidal basin, meander through a forest, dance in the surf…now that your big day has already taken place you don’t have to worry so much about how doing these types of photos might “trash your dress.” This type of shoot can result in more artistic shots that could grace the pages of any high fashion magazine. The groom is welcome to take part in the shoot as well.

Have the digital negatives with reprint rights for your wedding shot by another photographer and want an album or photobook now? Editing Services
Even if you didn’t hire a Fucci’s Photos photographer, you can still use our professional editing services. If you had friends and family take photos for you or got the high resolution digital negatives with a copyright release from your photographer, we can provide you with any of the products listed on our products page. Additionally, our editors can work Photoshop magic on your files, eliminating shiny foreheads, whitening teeth, airbrushing out blemishes and dark under-eye circles, and deleting distracting background elements like exit signs.
Maternity Portrait Session
Vail will work with you in advance to find a style of maternity portraiture you will be comfortable with. She will bring a portable studio to a location of your choice. Portrait sittings are $150/hour with an hour minimum. High-resolution digital negatives of the images from the session with reprint rights are $100. Sessions are suggested for those between 5-7 months pregnant. Partners and children are welcome to be part of the session as well.
